5 Amazing Beaches to Elope in Los Angeles

Point Dume- Malibu

This site is not only beautiful it has very particular energy! Point Dume Beach is a popular filming location for films, television, advertisements, and videos, appearing frequently whenever a beach scene is needed. From December to April it is not unusual to spot whales while migrating and dolphins sights are very frequent. If you do not mind walking up easy trails there are also a couple of decks that offer a great spot for romantic pictures overlooking the pacific. Please note that for wedding setups a permit is required!

2. Leo Carrillo- Malibu

Lovely beach and great picture location. You can choose to have your ceremony on the beach or close to tower 3 situated on the rock side. Permits are required if you want to set up a wedding arch, chairs, and decor.

3- EL Matador- Malibu

This is a popular spot for pro photographers to shoot swimsuit models and stunning sunsets. The beach is just lovely but not very wide so consider having an early ceremony to bit the crowd. Explore north on the beach to caves and arches in the rocks. The largest cave faces the ocean at the bottom of a huge flat rock that is connected to the base of the bluff. Because of few stairs going down a setup here is not possible but it is truly a great spot for elopements.

4-Lot Nord 5- Santa Monica

Santa Monica has such an extensive shore that is not difficult to find your little piece of paradise. The beauty of this location is that you can have the characteristic Santa Monica Pier as background for your stunning pics.

5. Pacific Palisades- Santa Monica Bluff

Ok, this is not on the beach but overlooking the beach and it is perfect for those who want that million-dollar Pacific Ocean view but is not thrilled with sand on the toes. However, you can have amazing pics at the park and come down to the beach as well. I really, really love this location!
