Eloping is a beautiful and intimate way to celebrate your love, and what better place to do it than on the stunning shores of Leo Carrillo in Malibu? This lovely beach is the perfect backdrop for a private ceremony that will be unforgettable.

Located just north of Los Angeles, Leo Carrillo State Park is known for its pristine beaches, rugged cliffs, and stunning rock formations. The park is named after the actor and conservationist Leo Carrillo, who was instrumental in the preservation of the area. With its natural beauty and serene atmosphere, it’s no wonder that Leo Carrillo is a popular spot for couples looking to elope.

The beach itself is wide and sandy, with plenty of space to find a quiet spot to exchange your vows. The waters of the Pacific Ocean lap gently against the shore, creating a peaceful soundtrack for your special moment. As you stand there, with the sun setting behind you and the sea breeze in your hair, you’ll feel a sense of peace and tranquility that’s hard to find anywhere else.

When we were exploring options  for our couples Ezgi and Onur  we were certain this was the perfect spot for their wedding ceremony. In this case, our lovely couple decided to include a few friends in their festivity. There were some tears of joy and commotion but the overall mood was joyful and fun. Paolo, our amazing photographer, had a great time shooting with this couple and their friends and he did a great job  capturing the essence of what our couple wanted for their wedding day. They wanted their special day to be easy, fun, intimate, and something that will mirror their personality that is easy-going. Their friends have a very important rule in their life and they could not say their I DO without them.

Usually an elopement is just about the two of you, where you can focus entirely on each other, and you won’t have to worry about anyone else’s expectations or opinions. It’s a chance to create a truly personalized and meaningful experience that’s all about your love. This was more an hybrid between an elopement and minimony.

By choosing to celebrate your love in such a beautiful and peaceful setting, you’re setting the tone for your relationship. You’re saying that your love is important enough to prioritize and that you’re committed to making it a central part of your lives together.

In conclusion, eloping on the shores of Leo Carrillo in Malibu is a beautiful and intimate way to celebrate your love. The natural beauty of the park, combined with the privacy and meaning of an elopement, creates a truly unforgettable experience.

Quick tip: if you do not want to have a lot of people on the beach choose the date and time of your ceremony wisely. Do not expect to have the beach just for you if you are looking to elope  during July and August (in this months not only people are taking advantage of the beach but you will have kids summer camps groups taking part of the beach.

Like all the beaches in Malibu there are rules, regulations and eventually permit to request to the department of beach and harbours.

If you’re looking for a special way to celebrate your love, consider saying “I do” on the shores of Leo Carrillo.
